Here we explain VisionSole in Easy Read.
Easy Read is easier to understand.

What is VisionSole?

VisionSole is an insole.
You put an insole into your shoe.

There are sensors in the insole.
Sensors are small measuring devices.
The sensors measure:
Where does the foot press on the ground when you walk?
And how hard does the foot press?

The insole sends the measurements to an app.
An app is a program on a phone.
The app turns the measurements into a picture.
The picture shows: this is how this person walks.

Who makes VisionSole?

VisionSole is a school project.
We are 3 students from Norbert-Gymnasium in Knechtsteden.
That is a school in Germany.

We built the insole and the app ourselves.
We take part in 2 competitions:
Jugend forscht and Jugend gründet.

Important: VisionSole is not a medical device

The insole does not say: you are ill.
The insole does not say: you are healthy.
The insole only shows: this is how the foot presses when you walk.

Do you have pain when you walk?
Then please go to a doctor.

Can you buy VisionSole?

No.
VisionSole is a school project.
It is not a company.
You cannot buy the insole.

You can take part

We need help.
We are looking for people who walk a short way for us.
It works like this:

  1. You put the insole into your shoe.
  2. You walk a short way.
  3. The insole measures while you walk.

It only takes a few minutes.
It costs nothing.
You decide yourself what happens to your recording.
